  • A reproductive psychiatrist is a psychiatrist with specialized training in how reproductive events - such as the menstrual cycle, fertility treatment, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause - affect mental health. Dr. Pomerantz is trained to evaluate and treat psychiatric disorders in the context of these life stages, including helping patients make informed decisions about psychiatric medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • In order to provide the highest standard of care in a personalized way, our practice is out of network and does not accept insurance. This allows us to focus solely on your individual needs without the constraint of insurance limitations.

  • While we do not bill insurance directly, many patients are able to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Upon request, we can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.

  • We primarily offer telepsych services to patients throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Patients must be physically located in one of those states at the time of the appointment.

  • This practice is out-of-network and does not accept insurance. Fees are discussed during the free consultation call. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before scheduling your first appointment.
